My creative practice is mainly from drawing outside using my sketchbook to develop ideas into paintings and mixed media art. I initially studied Graphic Design then Art and Design which both influence my work.
I'm inspired by daily observations in life using expressive marks and brushstrokes in response to what I see around me. Being in the moment gives me a great sense of connection to the natural landscape and coast of South Devon. It's a process that's always evolving.
I enjoy experimenting with different materials including acrylics, watercolour, charcoal, ink, and collecting observations.
This helps me use colour, texture and movement, also memory and imagination as I develop these into larger mixed media works.
We are Fine Art Trade Guild Commended Framers. All work is carried out to the highest standard in our open plan workshop. Every job, large or small is treated with the same respect and care.
We offer, original work by local artists, limited editions and fine art prints.
