Phil was born in Devon and moved to the Midlands as a young boy. At a young age he began winning art competitions.
A self-taught artist who moved back to Torbay in the late 1980s.
He began selling his paintings in the UK, Eurpoe, and the USA.
He did not want to be influenced by other artists, making his works original acrylics.
