Since ever I can remember, so that’s a very long time ago, I have loved messing about with anything to do with creating ‘art’. Whenever I see work in a different medium I just want to have a go, not necessarily being able to recreate the skills that had been on show, but just thoroughly enjoying attempting it!

I have an unrivalled ability to be covered in paint etc within moments of starting a project, and I don’t confine it to me, it’s anything in my vicinity, including the dog!

Back in the day I loved all the detail of painting wildlife and pet portraits with each hair being painstakingly  brushed on top of the next but more recently, mainly due to my struggling eyesight, I have moved to painting much larger scenes and I must say I’m loving that too! It really is quite liberating to get a loaded brush and cover large areas of a canvas with several enthusiastic colourful strokes. Yummy! Colours are, to me, like a visual taste explosion in sweet shop!

So here I am at the tender age of ..?.. attempting a new venture and i very much hope you enjoy my work.
